Silky and luxurious in texture, you’ll first be greeted with a punch of flavor - blue fruits and boysenberry command the senses upon entry, that tapers off to notes of black pepper and spice that linger on the palate. You can pair this wine with smoked lamb shoulder with rosemary, braised short ribs with blackberry barbecue sauce, and smoked gouda cheese. It also goes well with rich pasta, cheeses, and colorful vegetables.The high tannin content and acidity make it excellent for bottle aging.
